Finding it very difficult to stick to 800 calories… physical work and low nutrition don’t feel right but I am loosing weight I guess…

I will have a banana or popcorn or a few cashews if I get hungry as they are low cals. I also love fruit tingles, champagne and Peters Frosty Fruit icypoles for treats as they are also low cal!

800c is really low! Please look after yourself and make sure you're eating enough. Avoid starvation mode, I lost weight faster by eating a little more so my body and mind stayed happy.

Thanks for your input. The fast 800 was suggested by my doctor GP. I’m in my second week and I see him in 3 months to check on progress. I agree… it’s a very low calorie intake and I am not sure I can continue but I will stay as close to it as I feel my body can handle.

My son was on GP diet advice and lost his gallbladder and pancrease. Get a second opinion from a nutritionist. You might loose more than just weight. Such a low sustained intake can harm your organs.

Please be careful on such a low intake. All that will do is eventually slow your metabolism down as your body hits survival mode. Drink plenty of water and personally I wouldn’t go lower than 1200. I have a history of disordered eating and for me going on an 800-1100 calorie diet is what triggered it.
