Well a pound and a half of weight lost this last week To lose faster I think I would have to eat less calories, and don't know if I'm willing to do that. I added in walking, and tried to walk 10,000 steps most days, and did that some days. Maybe I'll have to add the gym back in. Feeling a little overwhelmed. But I am grateful for at least some loss.

Better to lose slower and keep diet sustainable for the long haul. Just keep doing what you are doing. As you lose weight you may need less calories to keep losing, so wait a while and than re-evaluate where you are. Great job on the loss!

1.4 pounds in a week is a great loss! you're doing something right so stick with it!

I stopped counting calories and switched to low carb. On October 4th weighed 169 today I weigh 151.. no exercise yet.. but just purchased and put together a work out bench.. I was told I was pre diabetic and did not want to go on Lipatrol.(spelling?) Went to a nutritionist for diabetic patients and was shown that low carb was the way to go. I am averaging about 35 carbs a day. Hooray.. Good luck and keep positive you are taking care of your body by caring about it. A plus about all of this is I really do feel happier.

Yes I've found Atkins to really be good for my type of body. You've done great, and have terrific weight loss! Thanks for your encouragement. :)
