Can anyone help me? Id say about 4-5 months ago I had a 6 month period of time where I would throw up everyday due to strong nausea. Usually happened when I got really stressed. Hasn’t happened until a few days ago when the problem arose again due to high stress levels. I can’t avoid the stress, but is there a way I can avoid the painful vomit?

Your body is telling you that it cannot handle this level of stress and something needs to be done before it leads to bigger issues. Have you tried different methods of stress relief? Different things work for different people - exercise, meditation, yoga, journaling, therapy, etc.

Thank you both, now that I’m thinking about it, it actually starts when I am cramming for exams and tests. I place things for last minute and deal with this as a consequence. It is hard to do things consistently but you’re right it will lead to further worse consequences so I should fix that. Family pressure is another thing but that doesn’t result on this. Moderation is best, something I struggle with. Right now I’ll continue feeling nauseous but later, once I imply a better living style, I should hope to never feel this way again. Thank you.

Breathing techniques have been shown in studies to help. Here’s a link you may find helpful: https://www.webmd.com/balance/stress-management/stress-relief-breathing-techniques Best of luck with it. Sounds like a tough situation.

Try drinking some tea with ginger & lemon in it when you are feeling nauseous. It can help calm the stomach down somewhat. Make sure you replace the fluids from vomiting as one can easily dehydrate without realizing it. I also concur with the others & their recommendations. You may need to set up a calendar as to when papers, exams, tests and anything with a deadline need to be met and plan how to reach those goals without putting undue stress on yourself by cramming for these things. If done daily you won't need to cram. And when your studies are done & you are in the working world full time, these skills can be applied there as well.

Hey 127 I was having problems like that , I found the only thing that worked for me was not letting my stomach get hungry, just eat an apple or something if you feel like you might be hungry.

Definitely you should see a physician, that is very concerning and although perhaps stress related, it may be symptom of something else.
