what am I doing wrong? what is going on? I am so tired of this weigh issue. How is it possible to gain 2kg over a weekend? I am tired of my life.

its normal for your body weight to fluctuate 1-3kgs in a few days. Take into account your water weight and your food intake. When you eat food, youre adding weight so obviously the scales gunna go up but maybe you just really need to poop😂 Keep going man its really okay!

Yea 1kg is normal and probably water and waste. Weighing is so tricky and can basically never be 100% reliable. Have to also ask yourself how you're feeling and looking.

Keep going. Don't give up. You will see progress if you stay consistent. It's disappointing, I know. I struggle a lot too, sometimes feels like nothing is working. Keep going, it may seem there's no progress but nothing happens over night

You might loose fat and gain muscle. Invest in a bathroom scale giving you weight, muscle, fat and water percentage. Look at all those factors. Just hang in there. If that is the case your weight may stand or change for a week or two. Just don’t give up. Show your body who is boss 😉😉

Hi! You are beautiful no matter what.. just remember it’s part of life, sometimes carbs/fat/alcohol/birth control/ meds cause water retention. Don’t give up hope yet. I recently gained about 5kg(within a year) and when I asked my doctor about it she said, maybe it was just time for my body to gain weight, which is not the best thing to hear but it is a valid statement. My partner brought up that I shouldn’t worry about my weight, instead I must focus on being happy and healthy and get rid of the scale🥰

Water retention and inflammation plays a big role in gaining so much in a short time. If it is more than a couple hundred grams (less than 250g) the odds are that your body is retaining water. Sudden change in hormones, diet, training and stress can be a contributing factor to consider.

I also seem to have the water retention problem. What can one do, as you can't get water tablets that really work unless you go to the doctor for tablets, and they quite strict on just giving you a script, and the one's you buy from Clicks or Dischem, just don work. But keep going Ursula, that is all we can do

Mpungosembalie, read about TDEE (Daily Energy Expenditure), once you know how many calories your body needs per day all you do is subtract 500 calories and your body will draw from your fat stores to balance the energy it needs. Read about how to balance Macro's too, this means macronutrients (Protein, Carbs, Fat) what your diet is made up of. If you have further questions, feel free to ask.
