Not really doing well on my challenges, at the moment. Part of that is that I have not been super-good about recording food. Boy, it really is difficult to get back to routine once you depart. I had an exciting experience Thursday night when I tried on several, er, special-occasion dresses (read: garb). What I found was that most are going to need to be taken in, except for one that I had in my twenties, which _fits_ _me_ _again_ (1st garb!)! Unbelievable! I really had no idea I could get back down to weights in the 130s without surgery. I am still having trouble believing that I am so close to my goal.
But all these are reasons to be more dedicated, not less, and I have been slacking off. And this is a bad time to be slacking, as the winter weather makes it harder to get out and exercise properly. Would it be the end of the world if I gained a few pounds back? No, it really wouldn't, but I am scared of breaking discipline too far and sliding back significantly, especially now that I have bought some clothes. I need these changes to be permanent, and that means sticking with the lifestyle changes as well.
