I have been a bad boy. Thursday drinks after work turned into cheat weekend extraordinaire. Surprised I only gained 1.4 lbs (so far).
A coworker of mine who I rarely work with on Thursdays asked me out to the bar after work. I went, and then it turned into a few beers there, followed by several more at home while listening to music. Wife was none too happy. I did not eat that poorly that day, just extra calories from beer. Then the next two days FRI/SAT I ate relatively poorly. Wife went out Friday night, so I had to nurse her back to health Saturday, and eat junk food with her.
Enough is enough already. I am back on my routine. Wife is shopping for healthy foods.
I had amazing feelings of guild though, and an upset tummy almost the whole time. I don't feel good eating like that, and it wreaks havoc on my body (and mind). I missed journaling too.
So today I am grateful for my fatsecret safe place and buddies. I am grateful for my wife and kids, and my kitty! I am also grateful for all my coworkers, and hope we can keep our team together.
