Water weight. Club crackers. Ugh. My ankles have been swollen for the last 3 days after eating six crackers. I've had no motivation to do anything but watch videos for the past week.
Work has been moderately busy, steady but not slammed.
I met up with the ex for lunch and backgammon. He's got a new job, and it keeps him too busy to meet as often as we used to. That's ok, though.
Probably the best thing that's happened this week is finally finding quail eggs for my little cooking videos. They're really hard to find in this area! The coolest thing is that they're white, instead of the more common brown-speckled. I've never seen any of the other people that do mini-cooking videos use white quail eggs. So, either today or tomorrow, I'll be shooting a video of a quiche. I can't decide if I want to make it crustless, or to come up with a low-carb crust of some kind. Maybe Fathead crust?

Hey kes, I think you would enjoy the beauty of Japanese Gelatin cakes...the artwork they create is simply gorgeous. I just googled Japanese gelatin cakes and there is a 5 min video and other images to look at. Some are stunning. Let me know what you think!

Quail eggs are fun. I'm also recuperating from a carb creep detour after last weekend's holiday - lost my keto adaptation, and been finding it hard to get back on track. Up about 4 lbs of water weight. :P

@Erika, it IS tough to get back on track after straying! I managed to stay very low carb for 3 days in a row, and yesterday was the first day with little to no hunger pangs. I've thought about adding music tracks to the videos, but part of what got me started on doing them was the ASMR aspect of just hearing the cooking sounds. (Google it, it's fascinating!)
