I'm off to meet the surgeon... the one who told me not to step on a scale until February because the condition and pre-surgery meds would make my weight too difficult to control. I see him monthly, as we're monitoring the condition closely, making sure the pre-cutting course is working and nothing new happens that would need to push the date up. No real idea why I'm terrified this month when every other month has gone smoothly. I'm not planning on telling him about the attempt to get my diet back on solid footing, and my GP has already approved the no-walker plan.
Still, wish me luck.
