Päiväkirja - JMA312, 13 touko 10

Went for long bike ride yesterday after work, I almost didn't go but my inside self said 'get going'! So happy I did. It helped release some stress from the day, smiled at some people that smiled back, beautiful day and good ride.
It may have helped my sleep problems of late also, Of course that is obvious, common sensical again. Whyh do we have to push ourselves everyday to do things that are good for us?
This may sound silly, but I think I'm an East to West sleeper! My bed was rearranged awhile ago and I've noticed lately that I toss & turn, well I remember from when I was a kid I would always sleep with my head at the ocean and feet opposite (E to W). That was the way my bed use to be also, but changed to make the room look better, Gee I'm the only one that sees it. So when I went out of town to the west coast (of FL) my bed was N / S and the couch was E / W. I would get up in the middle of the night and sleep on the couch with the TV on (I have tinnitus also need noise to go to sleep). When I got home I didn't think much of it, until yesterday Uhhh lets change the direction of the bed. Did that (it is E / W) now and wow did I sleep good, still need the TV on sleeper mode though. So I wonder if when I go to a motel or friends house if I can bring my compass and change the direction of the beds? Or maybe when making a reservation, request E/W arrangement? LOL

I never heard this before...and never even thought about it...but I have on and off had sleep issues myself...and frequently (about every 6 months) rearranged my bedroom furniture - just for kicks, and a new change. Now, I wonder if that ever contributed! I'll have to look into that...LOL about the motels...good luck w/ that!
