It is amazing how good it feels to see the scale go down. I have been about the same all week and finally I lose 1/2 lb. It gives me hope that if I don't give up it will come off, eventually. Last night instead of going for the oreos I ate some fat free pretzels and honey mustard instead. Still comfort eating, but it was a better choice. I tried to walk fastly on the treadmill and my achilles started hurting after about 15 minutes. I miss running and seeing how many calories I could burn!

Just keep remembering that all those little losses add up, however small... down is DOWN! So you just keep up the great work, keep focusing on what you've already lost and be very proud of yourself that those scales are going down. ;o)

Great job on the loss. And that was excellent control you showed by turning down oreos. I know how hard they are to resist. Sometimes I hear them calling me from the pantry. LOL. I hope that your achilles starts to feel better soon. I am just a beginner runner and I have a pulled hamstring right now. But I never thought I would say that I missed running until today.
