Uh-oh the scales not looking too good! Thursday is the official weigh in and I'm almost at my half-way mark! Washing and prepping lots of veggies today; re-arranged and organized my whole kitchen (almost all of it). See what getting a vitamix can do! Next think I'm eating will be a green smoothie!

Keep eating those healthy green smoothies! Enjoy that vitamix! I made a Mango frozen yogurt on Sunday... my oh my that was good.

mom i didn't even use it yet! do you have to put ice or something frozen in it? will it heat up the ingredients otherwise and turn it into soup?

If you keep it in there too long it will turn to soup and heat up. There is a DVD you should watch first. I was afraid to use mine too. HA HA! Also, there is an on and off switch on the side. Make sure it is on, and make sure the dial is set to 1 before you turn it on. Liquids and soft foods at bottom and layer up your ingredients.

Ok; that thing is a little intimidating, and I think I don't like ice-y drinks! But I made a mean green smoothie! Very pungent; should get rid of my flu!

I have a raw food/vegan store/cafe that I buy green smoothies at. I haven't in a while as its been so cold & I've been wanting hot soup instead. But, yesterday was finally a bit warmer, so I stopped & it tasted so good & felt so healthy! Enjoy! xoxox

My first smoothie was full of spinach and avocado, some coconut oil and 1/4 cup of strawberries. If you pour the 1/4 cup of hot water in it, it is a warm green smoothie. It was very filling.
