REAL failure would be stopping all efforts and refusing to try. This is what we call tweaking or changing your methods, in light of your results, to ensure better success. You tried it, it's not for you, it didn't work particularly well for YOU. So you tweaked it, changed what wasn't working and you are taking a new route. This is not failure, but rather success, you learned something and are applying what you learned to guarantee your best success. That's a victory to be honest.

I'm sorry I don't know you but felt compelled to comment this after reading your post. Because one plan didn't work out you are NOT a failure. You are continuing your work and doing the best you can. Its not easy, no one should tell you that you let them down. This is for you as you have in your posted name. Not for them. Good luck continuing down this road.

You've already lost 18 lbs; that is definitely NOT a failure! I enjoy my food too and wouldn't be able to sustain juicing; it's just not for me. There are lots of ways to get healthy and lose weight, you need to find the one that works for you. You have some good goals listed above. Take it one day at a time and make small changes every day and you'll get there. Don't ever let anyone tell you you're a failure - especially yourself!

you are doing what's BEST for you. don't push thru a program that is making you miserable. Moderation and portion control is an excellent plan. Switching from what doesn't work to what makes you happy is a success in my eyes!

You are soooooooooo NOT a failure. You tried something and it just wasn't for you, that by no means makes you a failure. There are always going to be things out there that we all try and for some of us it will work and for others it will not work. Don't give it a second thought, you are doing fantastic. It is your life journey and only you can determine what the outcome is going to be, however you choose to do it. I would love to be able to say I lost 18 pounds in two months, I think that is awesome.

You're not a failure. If it doesn't work, try something else. So many diets on this site. Check them out. Be well.

Fasting is not for everyone. Same as low carb doesn't suit all. And you've lost 18LBS!!! Wish I could fail so well.

No apologies necessary. Different strokes for different folks. This is your body and so you have to find what's best to take care of it in the healthiest way possible.

My understanding is that juicing and extreme diets aren't a lasting solution anyway. You will be better off making small changes ove time you can stick with. Hang in there! You will find what works best for you!

No apologies are necessary. Juicing isn't very realistic. I think it should be a lifestyle change rather than a quick fix.

You're not a failure because something didn't work for you. EveryBODY is different, you tried and it didn't work. I loosely tried it once, too, failed miserably. It's better to make small, sustainable changes. You can do it, you just have to find your rythym.
