I am losing my walking buddy. Thor's owners are being forced to move and I am losing my new friends; at least physically. I walked him this morning for the last time. I went to the YMCA so I went swimming and did my treadmill workout. It was a pretty good day with only the one exception. I hope everyone's day was good as well.

How disappointing that is. Maybe you can find another walking buddy, canine or human. Can you get a dog of your own? I am sure that there must be another dog owner that would love their dog to get some walking in. Maybe you could be a dog walker and earn some extra income while taking in some exercise.

You will miss him, but if you can have a dog, they are always available from shelters. Hope you find a new borrowed friend or can find a way to get one of your own. Walking is SO good for the dogs and the people!

Sorry your neighbors are moving. It's great you still have Thor's photo and all the memories of your walks together. I remember you said you walked with Thor one day and then you walked with your daughter. Maybe your daughter can be your walking buddy.

Would there be anyone else in your neighborhood who would appreciate you having their critter take a walk on occasion? Having that buddy does help.

I didn't realize Thor was not yours. Sorry you and Thor will be parted. I'm guessing he became a little more important to you than just as a walking buddy. I'll be thinking of you today. Keep up the good work, and like ClassicRocker suggested, maybe someone else's dog would enjoy some extra exercise :-)

Aw that's sad. If I was closer I'd let you walk my "Bear" :) (BIG, black, Newfie/Pyrenees mix. He usually walks me instead.)
