Got into a snowmobiling accident on Friday. Was forced off the trail by a drunk rider and hit a tree going about 30mph. I was thrown 10 feet from the sled. I was VERY VERY lucky, no concussion or broken bones, just really severe bruising, stiffness and pain. The attached photos are of my left arm, left thigh and pictures of the damage to the sled. Because of the accident, I haven't been able to go to the gym 4 days a week and its driving me CRAZY. My weight has increased by 1.7lbs and I am feeling really down. I am trying to do what I can and keep my food intake in check while I recover. I JUST WANT TO GO BACK TO THE GYM!! LOL.

OMG! That’s insane! Rest well and recover fast! It could have been much worse!

Oh my GOODNESS! You are blessed to be ALIVE girl! I know you must be in a lot of pain and the inactivity will be especially hard for a go-getter like you...but please try to give your body the time, rest & nutrition it needs to heal. 💙🙏😯

Oh no! I feel for you. I am glad you are okay but I would be seriously bummed out if my workout routine got interrupted. I wish you a speedy recovery!

I agree with CrystalJo; praise Jesus for no concussion or broken bones and praise Jesus you’re alive! I’m so thankful that you’re here! I’m so sorry you’re hurting so much and that you can’t use the gym as part of your self care right now. I know it’s hard, I was in a really bad car accident in December, but rest is the best thing right now so you can heal and be even stronger ♥️ Praying for healing and quick recovery, and for comfort and peace of mind while your body does what it needs to do ♥️

You are so fortunate that you’re able to walk away from this. Take your time recovering. It’s better that way than rush to more injury.

Yikes! That is a bad day on the trail. I hope the guy who caused it was cited. So glad it wasn't worse! Take it easy, take the time you need to heal
