This week I met a little girl (2 years old) with less than 30cm of her small intestine left. She will spend her whole life on TPN (total parenteral nutrition), which means she gets all of her energy and nutrients through an IV. Things like that really make me realize my problems are a lot smaller than they seem and I have a lot to be thankful for.
