Another success!!! This evening, just before I was about to prepare the dinner I had planned on, I got a call. My brother needed me to run an errand for him, and then come over to his house when it was over. For my trouble, he offered to buy me a rib tip dinner at one of the better BBQ places, on his side of town. Knowing I wasn't going to turn it down, I had to figure out a way to make it work, staying low carb. When it came time to get the BBQ dinner, knowing that there's sugar in most restaurant's bbq sauces, I took the high road. I made sure there was no sauce on the rib tips, and got collard greens and green beans as my sides. The dinner was big enough to split into servings for today, and tomorrow, and with a bit of hot sauce instead of bbq sauce, it was a fantastic dinner. The best part was; I was able to stay low carb in a potentially damaging situation. Hoo Raah!
