:-) To quote Hannibal, from the A-Team TV Series, "I love it when a plan comes together"! LOL My week of working out, went just as I'd planned it, and even got better. Since I knew I was going to be off, all week long; I got in my weight lifting, and I'd planned on walking 5 days straight; alternating between walking two miles, on Mon., Wed., and Fri.; and only one mile, Tuesday and Thursday, to give my knees a break. Yesterday, the music, of Janet Jackson, got good to me, so I ended out stretching the one mile, into two miles; and since the indoor track was going to be closed today; I grabbed the dog, this morning, and we went on an hour and a half walk, up to the park and back. He was shocked, that we were going anywhere, and glad to get out, since he usually only sees the back yard, or the alley, when I take him out. It was good for me too. :-)The last time I had taken him up to the park, my knees were killing me by the time we got back. Due to weightloss, and regular walking, they are fine today! Hoo Yaa! :-) Have a great weekend, and a Happy Easter everyone! :-)

Isn't it absolutely marvelous when you discover that you can now do something that you couldn't do before losing weight. It's fun to slip into a pair of jeans that you couldn't quite fit into but I think it is so much more rewarding when I realize that I am doing something physically that I couldn't do before... Sounds like the knees are doing great.

:-) You're right, it is a marvelous feeling. In fact, this week, I tried on both of my Gi's, Karate uniforms, for the first time in a couple of years; they may have fit me then; but now, I really look good in them. :-D What a difference 65 lbs can make! LOL I'll have to invest in a smaller size, when I start training at the new dojo, once I pick one. And yes, my knees are doing great. :-)

Hi...so glad you tried on those old uniforms, that just had to feel good & just helps emphasize what you are doing really, really works! Smaller gear is always fun to buy too. It must be fate that I tripped accross your entry since I have been toying with the idea of looking into some kind of martial arts & have absolutely NO idea where to start or what to look for or expect. So, I hope you won't mind, but I'd like to add you as a buddy!
