Rant alert!!! I love my friend. I love walking with her. I’m not one to do things alone and without her I would have done nothing the entirety of January. But I have been sitting here waiting for her for an hour thus far. No text no nothing. Obviously something has gotten crossed up she is normally 30 mins late not an hour. But really??!!! We only walk an hour because she doesn’t have more time. We need another walking partner so we could be walking while waiting for her. Rant over. I’m fine.

Good solution. Find another reliable walking buddy. You're friend can join in whenever she shows up. You're time is valuable too and you don't want to end up resenting her.

Maybe you should walk to her place to see what happened. You'd get your walk in plus find out what happened.

take care of U. do what is best for U. if someone (friend or no friend) is holding U back from succeeding-you must change your relationship with that person. keep the friend but change walking partner.

These are all great suggestions! I didn’t have a thought! All I could think was ‘how inconsiderate and rude’ to do that to someone! 🤷🏻♀️I normally excercise alone because I have health issues and can’t always be counted on to be consistent. It has hurt many friendships over the years so when I have time to be with other people and am feeling good, my time is extremely precious. 🙋🏻 I hope this works out for you. 🙆🏻

If you're in Scottsdale, it's because the stupid Waste Management Phoenix Golf Open has turned traffic into a horrible nightmare as usual. Hope you were at least "pacing around your house" while waiting for your "walking" buddy. Bet you burnt off even more calories doing that than you would have on the walk.

No I was sitting in my car waiting. Turned out she had a dead cell phone and a dead battery on her car. It happens. That is why I quietly rant to you guys. It helps to get the feelings out somewhat. As for the gold tournament - how funny you mention that. I worked for WM for 12 years and know all about that event. Never experienced the traffic or anything. Actually I always thought it was a waste of advertising money but maybe that is why I was not CEO. Lol
