I am a 41 year old wife and mother. My husband and I have been married 15 years this Nov. Our son is 8, almost 9. I was born with mild Cerebral Palsy, and I also have a host of health issues: chronic hypertension, diabetes type II, high blood pressure, high cholsterol, chronic fatigue, a chemical imbalance, and bi-polar disorder.

My son was born 3 months premature, at 2.6 lbs. He has some developmental delays, and is a high fuctioning autistic. He also battled Leukemia from ages 3 - 6. He has been cancer free for almost 3 years now and when he passes the 5-year mark, he should be safe from having it return. He is in 3rd grade this year, with classes for delayed children and the 'regular' classes. He loves school and is a very smart, happy boy.

I love to write, read, cook, collect recipes, listen to music and attend concerts.
