Well yesterday was yucky for food choices and excersize. I didn't go to the gym because I could tell I've been overdoing it with my gym routine. I skipped going because my body felt wiped out and I know that muscles need time to repair and regenerate, so I will go today and resume my regimen. Definately need to listen to our bodies. I have been doing the treadmill 5 days a week for 1 hour every day at 3.5 to 5 mph with a 10 to 15% incline and my heart rate once warmed up stay from 145 to 160. I also do 15 to 20 minutes a day of weights. I think Im gaining muscle and thats why I havn't lost any weight. (hopefully). I hope everyone has a great Valentines day and STAY POSITIVE.

Well today is a new day and I'm trying to stay positive. Closely watching my calorie intake and planning my workout at the gym later. Im wondering if anyone else out there is having a problem following a strict diet? I made diet changes across the board immediately and now I feel like I'm starving for something sweet. Any ideas on how I can curb that craving would be very welcome. My delima is that I am 5'7" and 160lbs and I need to lose 20lbs. I cut my calories to 1300 to 1400 a day and I go to the gym Monday through Friday after work and do 1hr on the treadmill doing high intensity and up hill burning about 550 calories and I also do a weigh lifting regimine of about 15 to 20 minutes. I have been doing that straight for 2 weeks and now beginning my 3rd. Is it normal for no weight loss? Is there something I might be doing wrong?

A little discouraged. I have been eating better with fewer calories and working out pretty hard for 1 1/2 hours every day and I have lost no weight. Maybe Im being to impatient as it has only been 2 weeks.
