Tomorrows my birthday. Not sure how I feel about it. I'll be 26, still single, working a craptacular job, and had to leave my baby home today because she's sick so I'm feeling a bit down. Fighting it though.
Otherwise, not much going on today. Hopefully I'll get to the store to get my almond and coconut flour tonight. I can bake me a cheesecake for my birthday cake before anybody gets any ideas to buy/bake me anything else! Decided too that instead of going out to a restaraunt we are going to BBQ steak at home. Steak, mashed cauliflower, and...? With cheesecake for dessert. Sounds good to me!
Back to the grind. Can't get rainbows without rain right?

Dani, that sounds like a great Birthday menu to me. Happy Birthday, and wishing you many more to come. Don't feel bad about turning 26,feel good, cause you are still in the prime of your life, with a lot of great years ahead of you. Take care of your baby, the best way you can; she'll bounce back; they're resilient that way. Concern is natural, but try not to feel too down. I hope she recovers quickly, so she can help you celebrate your birthday. Enjoy your birthday; enjoy the great meal you've planned, and have a great day.

Happy early Birthday! You should look on the bright side, your 26, so you made it another year, you have a job to pay the bills(even if it isn't the greatest), and you have a baby at home to love you. Good idea on making your own birthday dessert, smart thinking. I hope you enjoy your birthday and don't get down about it. Getting older just means you're more mature and wise.

Wow, 26...same wonderful age as my beautiful daughter....life is only beginning and you are getting primed for the best part of it. Happy Birthday!!!! I know that things may not be where you want them to be on this birthday but darlin', you've a whole lifetime ahead to have many wonderful surprises and adventures. Heck, if I can get excited over being 65...you can too!!!! Trade you....you be 65 and I'll gladly be 26.... Birthday blessings are being sent your way.
