Hi I am so glad I found this website it is so helpful in keeping track of m netcarbs which is what I need for the Atkins. I have been overweight since my first son was born before I got pregnant i weighed around 150 and since that I have had 2 boys who are my life. I later had a tubal litigation which only gave me problems 5 yrs after that of trying to fix the problem I gave in and had a hysterectomy at the age of 32, very young to be having such problems. I had a best friend that died at the age of 25 in 2007 and a month later my stepdad died both who I was extremely close to, so there was some weight gain there too. Where I have put on the most was after my surgery in 2009 I gained around 30 more lbs and I am now at the point I cannot get any bigger
i just am so unhealthy I have to get this under control now before its too late. I enjoy getting outside and doing stuff with my kids but right now I am at the point my weight gets in the way of that it is difficult to run, go to theme park, go swimming cause I am too ashamed or I just cant fit. No more I am coming up on my 15th year anniversary and I want to go somewhere special we are going to either go to Hawaii, or maybe a cruise but in oder for us to do this I have to lose the weight so I can enjoy my trip and feel good about myself. I am excited about my journey, not only to lose weight but finding a healthy lifestyle I can live with for now on.
