I stopped recording my weight loss journey on here 10 days ago to deal with a major incident that almost killed me! My ceiling collapsed on me at 2AM 10 days ago. I survived only because I decided to go to bed unusually early for me at 11PM. I had a lucky escape as you can see from some of the attached pictures.
Anyway, needless to say, I ate a lot of crap and stopped exercising to deal with the aftermath. I got my fitness mojo back TODAY and managed to do an 8 Kilometre walk, 30 minute run and some strength training to boot! Oh, and all this while in a FASTED state! YES, I'm back in full force to finish what I started. I shall be on a water fast until Monday. I need to reset my whole system as I know I gained weight for sure! I will record my weight in 2 weeks time. I feel so lucky and convinced I have more lives than 9 cats; do the maths! Phew! It sure is nice to be back on here! And how was your week?

I think I may have finally cracked it! My weight is finally moving in the right direction consistently. I finally got past weight stagnation by calorie cycling, increasing my protein intake and adding long average walks of 14 kilometres twice a week; this is in addition to my HIIT strength training and HIIT running. I'm looking forward to another week of FOCUS, Discipline & Determination. Have a fruitful week everyone!

I completely lost my appetite last Wednesday after badly spraining my ankle. I was in so much pain. The pain subsided today and I finally broke my water fast with miso soup followed with this very refreshing cucumber, tomato and onion salad with a sprinkle of balsamic vinegar, cayenne pepper, lemon and salt dressing. All came to a whopping 39 calories and I'm so FULL! Very satisfying. I'm determined to hit my goal weight realistically by my birthday first week in December.

Dammit, I sprained my ankle today getting on a bus! So I'm out of action for the next 3 or 4 days. I applied ice within an hour of the injury and have done that hourly most of the day. I've tied it up and off to bed. Plus side? Well, apart from the excruciating PAIN......
1 - I ate a total of 651 calories as I completely lost my appetite
2 - I did manage a HIIT workout this morning before my injury. Was on my way to Hampstead Heath for 10 kilometre walk!
3 - total calorie deficit of 1387, Yee, Haa!
There's ALWAYS a silver lining to any adversity I guess. I think I can still do some gentle yoga tomorrow and some upper body shoulder, bicep and tricep workouts.
Hm, I wonder if it's a good idea to workout or just rest up for the next few days until I'm fully healed?
